My New Favorite

This season I discovered a new favorite beach.

It's Matanchen Bay, Mexico. Located on the Pacific coast of Mexico just a couple of miles south of San Blas, Mexico.

Surfers will be familiar with this beach as it's a surfing paradise in the summers when the rollers come cascading in.

But in the winter it's the most fabulous walking beach with palm tree studded rocky knolls and gentle waves lapping at the shoreline.

As far as beach walks go it's a winner and a cerveza at Ishmael's afterward tops it off.

I'll keep looking and posting my best beaches here (someone has to do it).
